Movember Foundation

We will be providing regular updates from Movember along with information on the campaigns they run during the year. Below you will find the initial information Movember has provided to us. Remember be proactive about both your physical and mental health.
- Movember 2023 will be the 17th annual campaign in Canada (began here in 2007 in) where funds are raised and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
- Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.
- To date, through the moustaches grown and the conversations generated, we’ve helped fund 1,250 innovative men’s health projects globally, nearly 300 of those right here in Canada.
- Movember is doing what others can’t. They unite experts from around the world to collaborate on projects that will fundamentally change the way men in need are treated and supported. To ensure our impact is significant, far-reaching and long-lasting, they prioritize funding for the three biggest health issues facing men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer
